As of the first of January 2011 The Springfield College will operate under the new name of The Springfield Anglican College. The College enters its thirteenth year in 2011 and is proud of its record of providing the high quality educational opportunities students deserve.
The College's strong focus on the individual, the diverse range of academic and extra-curricular programmes and the very pastoral nature of all that occurs at the College, on a daily basis, will continue to underpin The Springfield Anglican Colllege's approach to setting students up for Their Future.
Reflecting the Anglican Church's ownership of the College, the name of the College will change. In making this change, the College has been very sensitive to all who have made such a significant contribution to the College's growth and development over the past twelve years.
The new contemporary logo seeks to retain the history and heritage of the College via the continued use of tartan and our colours have also been retained. The white cross has been moved to the right hand side to enable the primary four letters of the College name to be clearly represented and the motto changed to embrace the vision for Anglican Schools in the Diocese of Brisbane.
The motto “Faith, Honour and Service” promotes faith in Jesus Christ among students, staff and families, educates students to value and honour themselves and others; and encourages students to develop the skills and values to live in peace and harmony and reach out to those less fortunate than themsleves.
