The EDUCANG Board’s role is to maintain oversight of the company and its Colleges, by defining and monitoring strategic directions, developing policies, monitoring the effectiveness of the Board’s and each school’s performance and establishing control and accountability systems.
EDUCANG Limited was originally an initiative of the Anglican Church of Australia and the Uniting Church in Australia. In October 2009 the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane became sole owner of the EDUCANG company and consequently took singular responsibility for Forest Lake College and The Springfield College.
The Board meets regularly and as a company limited by guarantee, reports to the Australian Securities Commission annually.
Forest Lake College is accredited by the Non-State Schools Accreditation Board and is a registered CRICOS Provider for international education.
