Christian values form the basis of our pastoral care program at The Springfield College and the safety and care of our students is of utmost importance to us. In addition, our teachers value the partnership they have with parents in seeking to provide children with the skills they need to relate to others, to be resilient when they face difficulties and to develop self-confidence.
Students at The Springfield College are encouraged to develop spiritually by participating in weekly Chapel services with their class and through age appropriate class activities. It is intended that graduates from The Springfield College are provided with the resources and skills to be able to make informed decisions about faith related issues. Students at all age levels are encouraged to develop habits of service to others.
All students at The Springfield College belong to a Clan which supports the pastoral care system and annual inter-clan competitions.
Each Clan has been chosen because of its powerful status and significant role in Scottish history. They are:
Clan Keith
Clan Robertson
Clan McDuff
Clan Sinclair
