Visual art in all its forms is valued at the College, and is available for students in all year levels. Focusing on dance, music and theatre we support all students and encourage them to take part in co-curricular events including bands, dance performances and College musicals.
Our program allows students to explore a range of concepts and skills to heighten their awareness and foster expression of individual creativity.
The College also offers a comprehensive Speech and Drama program for students at all year levels which promotes the development of students' self-confidence and self-esteem, and empowers students to become effective oral communicators.
Students regularly perform oral presentations of poetry and prose, encouraging an appreciation and love of literature. They are encouraged to explore the relationship between sound and movement, to develop a pleasing voice quality with awareness of tone, pitch, pace and delivery, and to understand the part facial expression plays in speech delivery. The result is a very entertaining presentation which provides all students with the opportunity to develop confidence in their own ability through the support of the group.
